There are several great places to stay in Shanghai. The first place is the JW Marriott Hotel. The JW Marriott Hotel has over 342 rooms and is 60 stories high. It is made of glass and steel and is located right at the end of People’s Square. The hotel is within walking distance to all of the local museums and theaters. The second place is the Four Seasons Hotel. The Four Seasons Hotel has 37 floors. It is within distance to the Shanghai Exhibition Centre. It has 421 rooms that have dark wood antique repro furnishings with overstuffed armchairs and sofas.
The third place is Pudong Shangri-La. Pudong Shangri-La has 950 rooms with 32-inch plasma-screen TV’s and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the river. Some of the executive rooms come with binoculars so that see the mansions across the water. The fourth place is St. Regis. St. Regis has 328 rooms with a global cuisine restaurant. The restaurant has a butler on call at all times. The fifth place is Westin Bund Center. Westin Bund Center has over 570 rooms. It is decorated with black-and-blond-wood furnishings, jade ornaments, signature Heavenly beds, and marble bathrooms with separate rainforest showers and deep soaking tubs.
